Dear fellow IT-Professional,

   Welcome to my new web service. IT-Manager-Solutions.Com is my newest idea to spread the word of what it is all about to manage an IT department.

Even I will focus my attention on small and medium size businesses this site will also give advise and information to the veteran Manager, Director or CIO of large enterprises. My goal is to share my experiences my knowledge and my ideas with the IT management community. I do not want this site just to be a one way communication, a BLOG or another IT related magazine. I will introduce interactive features such as forums, chats and other community tools that will allow you, my fellow IT-Pro to get the most out of this site.

- Who am I?

My name is Oliver Fischer-Samano; I was born in Munich/Germany 35 years ago. I live and work today in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am the IT Director for a global chemical company responsible for the NAFTA region. I look back to 20 years of experience as a programmer, consultant, entrepreneur and IT supervisor in various positions and companies.

- What can you expect from me?

I pledge to be the driving source behind this site, the editor, your personal knowledge base, your moderator your source of inspiration. I am a full time IT Director which you all know is very demanding. As I do this in my private spare time my personal resources will be limited but devoted to this project.

- What I expect from you?

For that reason it is so important that YOU help me building up content by participating in the community tools I will provide here on this site. I am very happy to work with you and to listen to your critics, advice or recommendations.

So be part of this new project and let me know what you think about this exciting new site. At the end I created this for you and not for myself! I look forward to here from you.
